Biography
I have been an engineer and an entrepreneur in every role I was given the chance to participate. Starting my career as a Civil Engineer in 2002, I soon started my own Real Estate Investment Fund and successfully led the Management buyout in 2008. With the Great Financial Crisis in 2008 I decided to take an MBA at The Lisbon MBA in partnership with MIT Sloan School of Management, and the most important takeaway from that period was that time-to-market is key to every investment thesis. I was the Founding Partner and CEO of a Real Estate Development Company, achieving more than 500M€ of Assets Under Management, focusing on the high-end segment of the market. Our company´s investment arise from a distressed situation owned by a Bank, where we funded the acquisition with a Brazilian Private Equity and we performed a massive transformation of this assets into a world-class renowned Residential Development that gathered the attention of the most relevant stakeholders in the Industry.
