Eric Parrado serves as Chief Economist and General Manager of the Research Department at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). With extensive experience in macroeconomic policy and development economics, he leads the Bank's research initiatives across Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to joining IDB, Parrado held senior positions in government and academia, including roles at the Central Bank of Chile and as an economics professor. He holds a PhD in Economics and has published extensively on monetary policy, fiscal sustainability, and economic development in emerging markets. His expertise guides IDB's analytical work on regional economic integration, infrastructure development, and poverty reduction strategies, supporting the Bank's mission to improve lives throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

A workaholic, he was born in Syria, arrived in Brazil when he was 11, and started working when he was 19. He reportedly still works 16 hours a day but respects Shabbat. He told the Brazilian press years ago that he planned to give away most of his fortune in his lifetime; he reportedly gives 60% of his to charity. Since 2006, Horn has been on the list of Forbes billionaires

Richard is one of the world’s leading real estate economists. He joined CBRE in 2014 as Executive Director and Global Chief Economist. He is based in Boston and, as CBRE’s Global Head of Research, leads a team of 700 researchers worldwide, whilst travelling and speaking extensively on key real estate trends. He is Chairman of CBRE Econometric Advisers a specialist real estate forecasting unit. He has numerous academic and trade press publications to his credit including a highly regarded book called ‘Real Estate and Globalisation’ (Wiley Blackwell, Oxford), which deals with the impact on real estate markets of the rise of emerging markets such as China and Brazil.

Ignacio Calle Cuartas is the CEO of SURA Asset Management, a role he has held since May 2016. He has led the company's growth and transformation, establishing its Savings and Retirement business as a Latin American leader in the pension industry and strengthening SURA Investments' position in asset management. Previously, he served as Chief Corporate Finance Officer at Grupo SURA and International Finance Director at Groupe Casino. Ignacio holds a Production Engineering degree from Universidad EAFIT and Master's degrees in Economics from the State University of New York and Marketing Management from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. His extensive career, which began in 1996, includes diverse leadership roles and board memberships, such as AFORE SURA and Grupo Crystal.
