Roberto Moreno Mejía is the President of Amarilo S.A.S., a leading construction company in Colombia. Born in 1956 in the U.S., he studied engineering, economics, and construction project management at the University of Florida. In the 1990s, he returned to Colombia to co-found Inmobiliaria Mazuera, which became Amarilo in 2004. Over nearly 30 years, Moreno Mejía has driven urban transformation, delivering homes to over 115,000 families in Colombia and Panama. His "cities within cities" concept focuses on sustainable and impactful urban development, earning him invitations to speak at Harvard University. As President, he oversees Amarilo's legal, commercial, and financial activities. In 2023, he was awarded the Portafolio prize for best businessman in Colombia.

Mr. Moreno was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1956 and studied at the University of Florida in Gainesville where he obtained degrees in Engineering Science & Economics and Building Construction & General Contracting.
