GRI Club launches the Chinese Outbound FDI Committee, a group composed of executive members from GRI to foster dialogue with the Asian country aiming at the development of the infrastructure and energy sectors in Brazil focusing on cooperation, trade and investments between the two countries.

Historically, GRI creates connections between Latin America and China, and, at the launch of this Committee, club members will be meeting with Brazilian authorities and executives who are at the heart of recent cooperation advances, involving topics that will be discussed at the launch of the Committee, such as:

prioritization of joint infrastructure and clean energy projects;
financing and participation of Chinese companies in projects in these sectors;
Brazil's participation in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI);
the modernization of infrastructure through new technologies.
