Biography

Mário Alves de Oliveira serves as the Chief Development and New Business Officer at ALLOS, a prominent company in Brazil. A Portuguese national, he joined the Sonae Group in 2001, contributing significantly to the development, remodeling, and expansion of several shopping centers in Portugal. He led development initiatives in Romania before moving to Brazil in 2010. Prior to his current role, Mário was the Chief Development and M&A Officer at Sonae Sierra Brasil. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade do Porto, a postgraduate degree in Real Estate Management from Porto Business School, and an AMP from Harvard Business School. His extensive international experience highlights a strong track record in strategic growth and new business development within the real estate sector.
