Fabio Rocha Pinto e Silva

Fabio holds a LL.B, Research Master's and PhD in Civil Law from the University of São Paulo. Fluent in English and French, he completed a double degree PhD at Université Paris II - Panthéon-Assas, summa cum laude, in 2017. Fabio joined the firm in 2006 and works with Real Estate (transactions and leases), Rural Properties, Hospitality, Timber, Construction, and Real Estate Financing / Secured Finance. He was a delegate at the U.N. Commission on Intl. Trade Law working group on secured transactions and the rapporteur of the Ministry of Economy group for the reform of security rights in the Brazilian Civil Code. He has assisted drafting of secured transactions, land registry and securities regulation in Brazil, Angola, Mozambique and others.
