We take a large number of information into consideration but in short, applying leaders must meet 2 basic criteria:
a) Seniority: decision-makers only.
b) Principal: invested real estate or infrastructure companies with capital at risk.
Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the global economy, making data centers one of the world's most strategic infrastructure assets. As hyperscale operators accelerate expansion, Latin America is gaining momentum as an attractive destination for digital infrastructure investment, supported by growing digital demand, improving connectivity, competitive operating costs, and access to abundant renewable energy resources.
Beyond serving regional demand, Latin America has the potential to become a global hub for sustainable AI infrastructure. The region's significant hydro, solar, and wind resources could provide a long-term competitive advantage, enabling countries to power energy-intensive data centers with low-carbon electricity while strengthening energy security, industrial competitiveness, and economic development. Realizing this opportunity, however, will require regulatory certainty, faster permitting processes, grid expansion, and coordinated public-private action.
This GRI Virtual Roundtable will bring together senior leaders from across the digital infrastructure ecosystem to discuss whether Latin America is ready to compete for the next wave of global data center investment. The discussion will explore the policy, financing, energy, and partnership models needed to accelerate deployment and examine how governments, utilities, investors, developers, and multilateral institutions can collaborate to build a resilient regional digital infrastructure ecosystem.
This virtual roundtable will be conducted entirely in English.
