In terms of major financing, Gherardo participated and closed most of the landmark transaction in the airport sector over the last 15 years. Gherardo has built a strong expertise and good relationship with the major airport operators, Infrastructure and Pension/Sovereign funds having a keen interest in the airport sector. Her expertise includes capital funding planning, financial and business issues, rates and charges, and airline and commercial business arrangements. She is an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) and an International Airport Professional (I.A.P.), holding a Juris Doctorate and MBA.
