Spencer Garfield

Spencer Garfield is the Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Commercial Real Estate Credit at Fortress Investment Group in New York. He oversees a team responsible for real estate credit originations, structuring, syndication, and preferred equity investing, while also building strategic relationships with real estate companies. Before joining Fortress in 2013, Garfield spent 12 years as a Managing Director at Hudson Realty Capital LLC, focusing on loan originations, equity investments, and business development. He holds a B.S. from the University of Colorado and a Master's in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University, where he also served as an adjunct professor.
