Scott Barton
Biography
Scott Barton serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Campus Advantage, a role he assumed in September 2021. He leads the Investments division, overseeing all acquisition, development, asset management, and capital efforts for the company. With over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, Scott specializes in the student housing, hotel, land, and retail sectors. Prior to joining Campus Advantage, he was a Senior Vice President at EdR, managing acquisitions, dispositions, and off-campus development for the $4.6 billion student housing REIT. Following EdR's merger with Greystar, he coordinated portfolio growth and asset management for their student housing assets. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington University and an MBA from Texas A&M.
