Biography

Richard Henken is President and CEO of Schochet Companies, a real estate development and management firm. Joining in 1997, he became President in 2004 and CEO in 2016. Mr. Henken has spearheaded transactions approaching $1 billion, acquiring and preserving over 3,500 affordable apartments. With a background in marketing and strategy consulting, he is a dedicated advocate for affordable housing. He also chairs the Board of Hebrew SeniorLife.
