Rafael Serrano

Rafael Serrano is the Founder and Managing Partner of Safe Harbor Equity, a leading private credit manager specializing in distressed real estate debt. Established in 2005, Safe Harbor Equity, under Serrano's leadership, has managed over $1 billion in transactions involving performing and non-performing commercial and residential mortgage loans, defaulted debt, and distressed real estate assets across US and international markets. As Chair of the Investment Committee, he launched the firm's successful Distressed Debt Fund I in 2015, setting the blueprint for its subsequent funds. Serrano attended Florida International University.
