Peter Staz
Biography
Entrepreneur and Urban Developer, Pete Staz has over 21 years of experience in real estate. He has expertise in real estate development including ground up construction, property rehabilitation, repositioning, and financing projects. Staz is skilled at originating, underwriting, executing and managing a variety of real estate transactions. He co-founded Great Oak Capital, in 2001, which is a financial services company and owner and developer of investment real estate. In 2012 he founded Core Development with Peter Spain. Staz has developed both market rate and student housing projects, which a number of these transactions include private-public partnerships with ground lease arrangements.
