Peter Kavounas

Peter has over 13 years of experience in real estate, financial services, and compliance. He has worked for two federal banking agencies, two AmLaw Top 25 Law Firms and three startups. He advises entities on fund formation and structure, compliance strategies, and due diligence efforts of portfolios in real estate. Peter double majored in Communications and Managerial Economics at the University of California, Davis. He received his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law and his LL.M. in Securities Law and Policy at the American University's Washington College of Law. He is a registered lobbyist and is a member of the bar in the District of Columbia.
