Michael Cooper
Biography
Michael J. Cooper is a prominent figure in real estate, serving as President and Chief Responsible Officer of Dream and founder of Dream Asset Management. He is also the Chair and CEO of Dream Office REIT. With an extensive career since 1986, Mr. Cooper was instrumental in the formation of Dream Global REIT, a former TSX-listed real estate investment trust whose assets were sold in 2019. Under his leadership, Dream's assets under management have grown significantly, and he has been responsible for establishing multiple TSX-listed REITs including Dream Office REIT, Dream Industrial REIT, and Dream Residential REIT. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from York University.
