Biography
Juan Fernando Valdivieso serves as Managing Director at Peninsula Investment Group - USA, a role he commenced in 2015. He leads the firm's efforts in student and senior housing across the United States and Latin America, collaborating with specialized developers. With a background in real estate investing since 2004, his experience also includes founding and leading several private equity, consulting, and real estate companies. Prior to Peninsula, Mr. Valdivieso was a junior partner at McKinsey & Co. for seven years, focusing on strategy and M&A in financial services, telecom, and oil across multiple countries. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and dual BA degrees from Lafayette College, where he received the Wall Street Journal Achievement Award in Economics.
