Gene Kim

Gene Kim is Director of Private Lending and responsible for business development and loan origination at YAM Capital. Mr. Kim has been in the CRE industry since 1998 and has a diverse background in lending, mortgage banking, asset management, investment sales, development and brokerage, providing a broad knowledge base and skill set.
Prior to joining YAM, Mr. Kim was a Vice President at Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, a founding principal of Keystone Commercial Capital, as well as Capmark/GMACCM, Transwestern and a boutique investment sales brokerage. With his entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. Kim has played an active role creating new companies or opening local offices for national firms on a multitude of occasions.
