David Scherer

David Scherer is a Principal and Co-CEO at Origin Capital Partners, a firm he co-founded in 2007. He co-chairs the Investment Committee, overseeing investment analysis, acquisitions, and asset management. With over 25 years of experience in real estate investing, finance, and asset management, David brings extensive expertise to his role. Prior to Origin Capital Partners, he served as President of a privately financed hedge fund, managing offices in New York and London. David holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also co-founded One Million Degrees, an organization supporting community college students.
