Brian Watkins
Biography
Brian Watkins is a Managing Director at Clarion Partners, where he also serves as a Portfolio Manager for the Clarion Partners Real Estate Income Fund (CPREX), focusing on acquisitions and asset management. Joining Clarion Partners in 1996, Brian has a distinguished career in real estate spanning over three decades. He previously held leadership roles as Head of Asset Management - U.S. and Head of Acquisitions for the national investment team. Brian began his career as an Asset Manager for various funds and separate accounts. He is a member of Clarion's Investment, Operating, and Career Management Committees. He holds an M.B.A. in Investment and Finance from New York University and a B.S. from Syracuse University. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
