Bill Bayless

Bill Bayless is the Co-founder and CEO of American Campus Communities (ACC), a role in which he has significantly shaped the student housing industry. He co-founded ACC in 1993, leading it to become the nation's largest developer, owner, and manager of high-quality student housing. Under his leadership, ACC became the first publicly traded student housing company in 2004, solidifying student housing as an institutional asset class. Bayless has been instrumental in over $13 billion in student housing transactions, demonstrating extensive industry expertise. He is a graduate of West Virginia University.
