Biography

Armin Martens founded Artis Real Estate Investment Trust in 2004 and served as its President & Chief Executive Officer until his retirement on December 31, 2020. Under his leadership, Artis REIT grew into one of Canada's largest diversified commercial real estate investment trusts. Martens possesses extensive experience in the real estate industry, holding a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Manitoba and an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development. He currently serves as President & CEO of Marwest Development Corp. since 1994 and CEO of Manncor Realty Advisors, Inc. since 2021.
