Richard McLaughlin-Duane

Richard is Managing Director, Origination & Structuring at MetaWealth, a pan-European real assets platform. He leads MetaWealth's real estate and energy infrastructure teams, covering origination, structuring, and development across both, with a current focus on utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Originally from London, he has worked across West Africa, the UAE, and Australia, and is now based in Bucharest, active across Europe. He brings over a decade of real estate investment and development experience, including full-cycle delivery of more than 700 residential units, preceded by a decade in commodity trading across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Prior to MetaWealth, Richard co-founded London Partners, a UK real estate investment and development platform. At MetaWealth, he has closed 14 transactions across four countries in under four years, spanning multiple asset classes and strategies.
