Owain Thomas
Biography
Owain Thomas served as Managing Director - Development & Land at Cortland - UK, where he significantly contributed to the company's European expansion. He led Cortland's in-house development and design teams, overseeing the origination and delivery of new Build-to-Rent (BTR) investments in the UK and Ireland. His tenure included a joint venture with Harrison Street for a £750 million pipeline of BTR projects. Thomas brought extensive experience in the real estate market, with a focus on BTR and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), having previously been Development Director at Cheyne Capital for five years. He played a key role in Cortland's ventures, including flagship schemes in Greater Manchester.
