Martin Makovec
Biography
Martin Makovec is the Director of Investment, CE&Austria at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. With over 14 years of expertise in real estate investments and asset management, he has successfully overseen transactions exceeding EUR 600 million across Central Europe and Austria. Notably, he played a role in Unibail-Rodamco's USD 24.7 billion acquisition of Westfield. An MRICS member, Martin holds a Ph.D. from the Prague University of Economics and Business and has prior experience at firms including Avestus Real Estate, Ernst & Young, and KPMG. His focus is on driving strategic real estate investment and portfolio growth within the region.
