Biography
Sebastian Cardona joined Hyatt in January 2026 and serves as RVP of Growth for the Mexico region. Sebastian is responsible for overseeing new hotel development, franchise and management contract transactions for Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection hotel brands in Mexico. Sebastian has 10 years of experience in real estate transactions. Prior to joining Hyatt, he served as Investment Associate at Vertex Real Estate Private Equity and Director of Development and Portfolio Strategy at Playa Hotels & Resorts. Sebastian is based in Mexico City.
