Biography

David Tapia is Chief Economist at Profuturo Afore. Previously, he was Head of Market Intelligence in the Alternative Investments division, as well as Senior Economist for four years. Before joining Profuturo in 2017, he served as an Economist at Bank of Mexico and Mexico Economist at Deloitte. Tapia holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a master's degree in economics from the University of Essex in the United Kingdom.
