Biography

Juliana Gómez has been Director for Foreign Direct Investment at ProColombia since 2010. Over 350 projects with estimated investments of US$7 billion in sectors ranging from IT/BPO, tourism infrastructure, private equity and venture capital, manufacturing, infrastructure and agribusiness, among others have been supported by PROCOLOMBIA between 2009 and 2018. Mrs. Gómez earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Eafit in Medellin, and then went on to acquire a Master’s Degree from the same university. Her career has long been linked to ProColombia (former Proexport), where she began to work in 2004 as an Exports Specialist to help Colombian SME’s become international players.
