Jaime Chico Pardo

Jaime Chico Pardo is the former Chairman of the Directive Board of Telmex, Carso Global Telecom, Ideal, as well as a member of the board of a variety of companies, AT&T among them. From 1995 to 2006 he occupied the position of CEO of Telmex. Before he joined the Telmex team, he was CEO of Grupo Condumex, Euzkadi/General Tire de México, and Fimbursa. He built his career in the international banking industry with Banamex and started an investment bank, IFI de México, in 1984.Today he is a board member of Bimbo, Honeywell International, and Chicago Booth GSB. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana and he earned a MBA from The University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
