Guna Lasmane is a Senior Underwriter at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), a political risk insurance and credit enhancement arm of the World Bank. Over 15 years of experience in project origination, structuring, and execution worldwide in the services sectors, including healthcare, education, tourism, and real estate. Her role involves supporting private sector investors, fund managers, and lenders in de-risking cross-border investments by utilizing political risk insurance tools, mobilizing private capital, and facilitating access to funding in emerging markets.

Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA)
The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) is one of the five member institutions of the World Bank Group. MIGA's primary role is to promote foreign direct investment (FDI) into developing countries to support economic growth. It does this by providing political risk insurance and credit enhancement to investors and lenders to protect against losses caused by non-commercial risks. By mitigating risks, MIGA encourages investors to commit capital to projects in riskier environments.
