Biography
Gizeh Polo specializes in national and international transactions
related to capital, debt and structured instrument offerings,
structured financings, as well as restructurings, and regulatory
aspects of the Mexican financial system in general. His
experience includes advising on various novel structures (first of
their kind) in the Mexican market, highlighting: the first and
second (so far) only SPACs listed in Mexico (BMV: VISTA; BMV:
GAV (formerly PAC)), the largest public offering of FIBRA-E to
date in Mexico's history (BMV: FNAIM), the first FIBRA of the
telecommunications sector (BMV: FSITES), the first CKD focused
on the Mexican agricultural sector (BMV: RRG), the first synthetic
securitization of a Mexican bank, as well as the first social
securitization in Mexico (BMV: FINAE).
Before joining Cuatrecasas in Mexico City, he worked at a leading
national law firm and as an international attorney at the New
York offices of Shearman & Sterling LLP.
