Biography

Fernando Massú is the Chairman of the Board at BTG Pactual Chile, a position he has held since September 2016. An accomplished Commercial Engineer from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez with a PMD from Harvard Business School, he brings extensive experience in the financial sector. Previously, he served as CEO of Corpbanca from 2012 to 2016, where he spearheaded significant growth and oversaw the complex merger with Banco Itaú. His career also includes leadership roles at CorpGroup, where he was Corporate Finance Director, and a long tenure at Banco Santander Chile, culminating in responsibility for Wholesale Banking. Massú's expertise extends to international finance, having been Financial Director for Santander in Portugal and holding positions at Citibank.
