Biography

Responsible for strategy, network planning, scheduling, sales, marketing, revenue management, pricing, ancillaries, cargo, call centre, digital, social media and commercial IT. Before Volaris in 2019, she was an independent consultant advising aviation clients on strategy, transformation and restructuring. Her clients included easyJet, Malaysia Airlines, Etihad, Air Arabia, Air Mauritius, Air Seychelles, LEK Consulting and Ernst & Young. From 2011-13 she was SVP, Corporate Strategy & Special Projects for Etihad Airways, responsible for strategy, M&A, and other key initiatives. She also spent 10 yrs with British Airways in London. Her background also includes roles in investment banking and strategy consulting with LEK Consulting.

Volaris is the leading ultra-low-cost carrier in Mexico and Central America, and the largest domestic airline in Mexico with a fleet of 83 aircraft and bases in both Mexico and Costa Rica. Volaris carries c. 22m passengers annually and operates 214 routes between 70 destinations in the USA, Mexico and Central America. Volaris’ network contains 41% of routes without air competition and 68 routes in which Volaris pioneered air service. 6% of Volaris customers are still first-time flyers.
