Biography
S. Sriniwasan (Srini) heads Kotak Alternate Asset Managers Limited (“KAAML”). He is also a part of the Group Management Council that drives Kotak Mahindra Group’s growth charter. Srini has played a crucial role in building different asset classes in KAAML including Real Estate, Infrastructure, Special Situations & Credit, Private Equity and Investment Advisory which collectively have raised / advised USD 18 billion till date. Srini has been a part of Kotak Mahindra Group since 1993, where he has been a part of its investment banking joint venture with Goldman Sachs and co-head of Kotak Investment Banking. Srini is also a member of various prestigious bodies such as CII, APREA, GRI, IVCA and EMPEA.

Kotak Alternate Asset Managers
Kotak Mahindra Group had been associated with private equity investments since 1997. In 2005, to bring about a sharper focus to this business, Kotak Investment Advisors Limited was set up as the Group’s Alternate Assets practice with its first structured third party private equity and real estate funds.
