Biography

Alok Vijayvergiya is the Group Chief Sustainability Officer at Hinduja Group, where he spearheads sustainability, ESG, CSR, and Trust initiatives across diverse group companies, including Ashok Leyland, IndusInd Bank, and Gulf Oil. With over 20 years of experience, he previously held key sustainability roles within the Tata Group and JSW Group, overseeing strategy and sustainability functions. His career highlights include managing significant carbon credit transactions and earning multiple accolades such as the Super Star of the Year 2023 and the Golden Peacock Award 2019.
