Abhijit Malkani
Biography
As Chief Executive Officer, India at ESR, Abhijit Malkani is responsible for devising and executing the overarching growth strategy for the company’s Indian business and operations. His remit spans investments, development, leasing, and fund management. Abhijit brings over 30 years of experience in the real estate sector across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Of these, more than 15 years have been dedicated to the industrial and logistics real estate sector in the Indian market. Prior to joining ESR, Abhijit was a member of the founding team and Managing Director of IndoSpace, where he played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a leading logistics real estate developer in India. He has also held senior management roles with several distinguished industry names, including Prologis where he was country head and established the Indian operations of the company. Abhijit holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Delhi, India.
