Sonia Gonzalez Valverde

Sonia Gonzalez Valverde is a distinguished Portfolio Manager Real Estate at Shell Asset Management Company (SAMCo) in the Netherlands. She leads the Global Real Estate Investment Strategies team, responsible for developing and implementing real estate strategies and managing investment performance for SAMCo's diverse client portfolio across the US, Europe, and Asia. With over 25 years of extensive experience in real estate and funds management, Sonia previously held senior investment management positions at CBRE Global Investors (2011-2013) and ING Real Estate Select (2005-2011). An alumna of INSEAD, she also holds a Master's degree in Business Economics. Sonia is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Technology in Real Estate Committee at INREV and the Board Companions at INSEAD Alumni, and holds non-executive roles in leading property firms.
