Richard Spencer
Biography
Richard Spencer is the Head of Real Estate in Europe at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, a position he has held since joining the firm in 2009. He was named Managing Director in 2012 and Partner in 2018. Mr. Spencer has been instrumental in leading Goldman Sachs' series of real estate debt funds and oversees real estate investments across the European region. His expertise lies in real estate credit strategies and alternative lending, providing solutions to real estate private equity sponsors and developers. He holds a degree in History from the University of Warwick.
