Biography
PhD in Economics and Master in International Economics from ISEG/ULisboa. Assistant Professor at Universidade Lusíada since 1994, where he teaches the courses of Financial Markets, Financial Calculus, and Finance Topics. Guest Professor at Universidade Nova IMS, having also taught at IDEFE-ISEG, ISCSP, NOVA School of law, and Universidade Católica. Author of several books, including “Mercados – São Mesmo os Grandes Culpados da Crise?” (2015), also contributed to the following books: “The Future of Pension Plans in the EU Internal Market” (2019) and “Risk Management in Portuguese Financial Institutions” (2015). He was also one of the coordinators of the “Code of Contributory Regimes of the Social Security System – Annotated and Commented“.
