Mario Lapiedra Vivanco

Mario Lapiedra has more than 20 years of experience in real estate investment and asset management, and since 2015 he joined Neinor Homes as Chief Investment Officer leading the company's investment and commercial areas. During this period, Mario has invested over €4.5 billion (€2 billion in individual assets and €2.5 billion in corporate transactions), in addition to participating in the fund raising of approximately €3 billion (IPOs, ABBs, and JVs). In the commercial area, Mario has led the sale of over €6 billion in assets, including retail sales and portfolios. Before joining Neinor Homes, Mario led Lone Star's operations in Spain and Portugal for four years as Head of Underwriting and Asset Management at Hudson Advisors. During this time, he participated in transactions exceeding €5.5 billion, most notably Octopus and Lion. Prior to that, he spent five years as Head of Valuation at Knight Frank. Mario holds a degree in Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and has a Master's degree in Real Estate from Nottingham Trent University.
