Margaret Sweeney

Margaret is an experienced Chair, Board Director and CEO. She is a Director on the Boards of Bank of Ireland Group and New Ireland Assurance plc and a Senior Adviser with Consello. Margaret is former CEO and Board Director of IRES REIT plc, Ireland’s leading private rental residential owner and operator with €1.5bn of assets. She is Chair of the Dublin City University Business School Advisory Board, a Trustee of the Chester Beatty Library. She is a former Non-Executive Director of Dalata Hotel Group plc, Birmingham Airport, Dusseldorf and Hamburg Airports and HSBC Security Services Ireland DAC. She is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Chartered Director of Institute of Directors.
