Biography

Marco Valli is Global Head of Research and Chief European Economist at UniCredit Bank, where he has responsibility for forming and communicating the views on the global and European economies to clients and internally. Before being appointed to his current role, Marco covered the position of Chief Eurozone Economist and Chief Italian Economist. Prior to joining UniCredit in 2004, he worked as European Economist in the asset allocation department of Fideuram SGR. Marco holds a bachelor degree in Economics and a master degree in Quantitative Finance from Bocconi University in Milan. Marco's analyses and comments are often quoted on financial media such as Bloomberg, the Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal.
