Marc Brütsch
Biography
Marc Brütsch has worked for the Swiss Life Group since graduating from the University of Zurich in 1993 with a degree in economics and media science. 1996 and 1997, Marc worked in the United Kingdom for Swiss Life UK. He subsequently assumed responsibility for economic research as the basis for Swiss Life’s group-wide investment processes in traded securities, infrastructure and real estate. Since March 2000 he has been Chief Economist. In 2022, he was sent to Paris in this role for a 12-month stay. Married and father of three children, lives in Zurich. Consensus Economics Inc. in London awarded him multiple times with their Forecast Accuracy Award for best economic forecasts for the Swiss and Euro Area economy.
