Jenni Wenkel

Jenni Wenkel is a Member of the Management Board and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Union Investment Real Estate Austria AG, a position she has held since September 1, 2021. In this role, she is responsible for investment management at the Vienna-based property fund manager. Prior to joining Union Investment, Ms. Wenkel spent 13 years at Erste Group Bank AG, where her roles included Head of Corporate Real Estate Asset Management, overseeing strategic portfolio, asset, and investment management across Austria and Central and Eastern Europe. She also served as project manager for the Rosewood Vienna hotel development. A qualified architect and real estate economist, Jenni Wenkel is also a Certified Real Estate Investment Analyst (CREA®) and serves as Chair of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in Austria. She brings over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry.
