Biography

Giacomo Trovato served as Country Manager for Italy & SE Europe at Airbnb for nearly five years. During his tenure, he navigated the COVID-19 crisis, adapted to new travel trends, and fostered dialogue with institutions, leading to national registration systems for short-term rentals in Italy and Greece. Previously, he spent seven years at Amazon, where he led the Consumer Electronics division for Italy and Spain. An alumnus of Bocconi University and MIT Sloan School of Management, Trovato now serves as CEO and General Manager of Genertel since May 2024.
