Edwina Governey
Biography
Edwina Governey has been appointed as CEO of Hibernia Real Estate Group Limited with effect from 1st January 2026. She was appointed Chief Investment Officer in 2019, having joined Hibernia in 2014. She previously worked for Resolution Property and Mountgrange Investment Managers in London. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Legal Studies from University College Dublin and an MSc in Real Estate Economics & Finance from the London School of Economics. She is a Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors in Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Hibernia
Hibernia is an Irish property investment company primarily focused on acquiring and holding investments in Irish property with the aim of maximising shareholder returns. Hibernia creates some of the best and most sustainable workspaces in Dublin by upgrading or redeveloping older buildings in a responsible manner. Since 2022, Hibernia is wholly own by Brookfield, having previously traded as a REIT on the Dublin and London stock exchanges.
