Christian Janssen

Christian Janssen is Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Debt for Europe at Nuveen Real Estate, based in London. He joined Nuveen in 2013 to establish its European Debt Platform. With over 25 years of experience in structured finance, real estate debt, and investment management, Christian plays a pivotal role in Nuveen's European debt strategy. His extensive background includes leadership positions at Renshaw Bay, where he co-headed commercial real estate lending, and Barclays Capital, where he built its European CRE lending platform. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University and an M.B.A. from Yale University.
