Alessandro Ferrante
Biography
Prior to co-founding Emerald Pine Capital, Alessandro was an executive director in the Asset and Wealth Management Division of Goldman Sachs. Alessandro joined the European Special Situations team of Goldman Sachs in 2015. As a member of the Real Estate investing team, he executed several investments across the capital structure in real estate assets, real estate platforms, performing and non-performing credit portfolios secured by commercial and residential real estate. Before his time at Goldman Sachs, Alessandro was a member of the Asset Finance and Asset Backed Securities team at Credit Suisse, where he began his career in 2014. Alessandro holds an MSc in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan.

Emerald Pine Capital is an independent real estate investment company co-founded by Fabrizio Grena and Alessandro Ferrante, who worked together for several years at Goldman Sachs, specialising in real estate direct investments, operating platforms, special situations and loan portfolios. Together, Fabrizio and Alessandro have successfully closed over 40 equity and credit deals, deploying over €10bn of capital throughout their three decades of combined investment experience.
