Duarte Leal
Biography
Duarte D'Eça Leal is a Partner at Convex Capital in Portugal, a firm focused on maximizing quality and value in real estate operations through an asset management model. He brings extensive experience in real estate and hospitality, having commenced his career in the UK after earning a Masters in European Business from CASS Business School – City University London. Returning to Portugal in 2009, he co-founded The Independente Collective, developing a network of innovative hospitality operations. Duarte also co-founded REBEL in 2016, which is behind significant hotel projects, and actively supports the local startup ecosystem through mentorships and as a juror for Portugal Ventures.
