Mario Barros
Biography
Mario De Barros is head of Brazil at Jaguar Growth Partners. Mario is responsible for the sourcing, evaluating, executing and portfolio management of Jaguar’s local investments. Before joining Jaguar, Mr. De Barros was a Director at Patria Investments, one the largest private equity managers in Latin America, with over 12 billion dollars under management. There he was part of the leadership of the PIPE strategy. Previously to Patria, Mario was an executive in a KKR portfolio company and before that an Investment Officer at Endurance, a mid-market private equity firm. Mr. De Barros holds an MBA from the Wharton School, a MSc from ParisTech, and a degree in Computer Engineering from Escola Politecnica/USP.
