Alexandre Gehlen is the Diretor Geral (CEO) of Intercity Hotéis, one of Brazil's top 5 largest hotel operators with over 50 properties nationwide. Co-founding the company in 1999, he has been instrumental in its growth and innovation. Gehlen began his distinguished hospitality career in 1989, and his background includes an MBA in Business Management and international hotel specialization from internships in Austria and Germany. He is recognized for pioneering data centralization and leading major expansion initiatives, deftly guiding Intercity Hotéis through market challenges and significant growth phases. He also presides over the Board of Directors for FOHB (Fórum de Operadores Hoteleiros do Brasil).
